These attorneys regularly engage in litigation on behalf of the firm’s corporate and business clients, and also regularly represent clients coming to the firm solely for representation in litigation matters. The firm's Business Litigation Group practices before a wide range of tribunals, including all state and federal trial and appellate courts in the region as well as a wide variety of administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Alternative Dispute Resolution
Thorgood Law Firm has steadfastly kept abreast of the move towards the increase in using various methods of alternative dispute resolution in the resolution of conflicts, and we are committed to making this type of procedure a viable alternative for our clients. Members of the firm’s ADR practice group have received special training in mediation, arbitration, and other methods of ADR. Our attorneys have participated in all aspects of ADR, including serving as counsel to parties involved in mediation and arbitration, particularly in the business and related areas.
We represent clients in all types of ADR including mediation, binding and nonbinding arbitration, summary jury trials, mini trials, independent evaluations, and formal and informal settlement conferences. We also advise clients on the implementation of internal and external ADR procedures and how and when to include such procedures in contracts for such things as employment grievances, contract disputes, and damage claims.
